Hello! Thanks for visiting Piccolo Explorer. We are an American and Italian family living in London. I’m Cindy, originally from San Diego, California, and Piccolo Explorer is my family travel blog for sharing inspiration for family days out in London and tips for holidays abroad.
I’ve lived overseas for most of my life and started travelling from a young age, mainly between the United States, the Philippines and Saudi Arabia. I grew up in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, where my family moved to when I was six years old. After graduating from university in the US, it wasn’t long until I moved abroad again to London where I have now lived for over 18 years. I have a background in marketing communications and running an online business.
London with Kids
Piccolo Explorer was launched in 2015 when Little T was 18 months old. The goal behind the blog was to share ideas for days out in London with a toddler.
Little T is now an energetic 11 year old, who loves exploring the outdoors, playing hockey and learning to play the trombone. His favourite family days out in London are the Royal Air Force Museum, the WB Studio Tour: Making of Harry Potter and Wonderlab at the Science Museum. One of his top London experiences was the Dino Snores sleepover at the Natural History Museum.
Miss A is a fun-loving 7 year old who loves books, arts and crafts and playing dress up. Her favourite days out in London are ZSL London Zoo, Kew Gardens, Magic Garden at Hampton Court Palace, Hobbledown and the Diana Memorial Playground.
