Cape May Cafe Character Breakfast offers a fun character meal experience with Minnie Mouse and friends at the quaint Disney’s Beach Club Resort. In this post, I will share more about our experience and what to expect at Minnie’s Beach Bash Breakfast.

Cape May Cafe Reservation
During our family holiday in Orlando, I managed to book the Cape May Cafe Character Breakfast, which is called Minnie’s Beach Bash Breakfast, only a few days in advance through the My Disney Experience app. I’d still recommend trying to book the character meals further in advance, since we might have just lucked out that there was a cancellation just in time.
You can book Walt Disney World dining reservations up to 60 days in advance using the My Disney Experience app or the Walt Disney World Dining website which are straightforward and easy to use. You will be asked for your telephone number and credit card.

Phone numbers must be 10 digits, so to book with your UK mobile number, select GB +44 and remove the first ‘0’ from your phone number. You can cancel or amend your dining reservation up to 24 hours before.
Meeting the Characters
Minnie’s Beach Bash Breakfast was our final Walt Disney World character meal for our trip to Orlando and I am so glad we made it there!
At this buffet style breakfast at the New England-inspired Disney’s Beach Club Resort, we met Minnie Mouse, Goofy and Donald Duck all decked out in their swimwear.
Little T participated in a parade, pretending to swim with Goofy. He absolutely loved watching the characters from our table and having the opportunity to meet them and ask for autographs whenever they stopped by our table.
The Cafe May Cafe Character Breakfast was a wonderful opportunity to meet Minnie, Donald Duck and Goofy, with plenty of individual interaction. I loved that they also did a several fun parades and games during the breakfast, involving the children for some time.

Cape May Cafe Buffet Breakfast
The Cape May Cafe Character Breakfast is open from 7:30am to 11:30am. The breakfast buffet includes many of the usual dishes, such as Mickey Mouse waffles, a variety of pastries and pancakes with plenty of sweet toppings.
Savoury breakfast items include scrambled eggs, quiche, bacon, sausage and seasoned potatoes.

There was also a selection of cold cuts, roasted ham, asparagus and hollandaise sauce. Overall, the Cape May Cafe buffet offered a mix of healthy and indulgent items, with plenty to choose from and something for everyone.
Cape May Cafe is also open for a dinner buffet from 5pm to 9pm, but characters do not appear at dinner. The Cape May Cafe dinner buffet menu features New England flavours, including peel-n-eat shrimp, clams, snow crab legs and slow-roasted strip loin.
The service at the Cape May Cafe was fantastic. We had a very friendly server and a helpful restaurant manager, who were both frequently checking in with us, to see if we needed anything or were waiting to meet a character. Overall, a great experience and a place I would recommend for a Disney character meal.
Disney’s Beach Club Resort
The Cape May Cafe is located at Disney’s Beach Club Resort, within the EPCOT resort area and a short walking distance to EPCOT. This beautiful resort has a charming New-England inspired design.
