Last time we were visiting San Diego in October, we made the most of the Kids Free promotion with a day out at San Diego Safari Park. An expansive 1800-acre wildlife park and home to more than 300 species, San Diego Safari Park is San Diego Zoo’s sister park located in Escondido, North County.

Belmont Park is renown for its restored Giant Dipper roller-coaster that was originally built in 1925. The amusement park also has bumper cars, miniature golf and an arcade.
