This morning we went to Osterley House, a National Trust site in Isleworth which is a short drive away from where we live. I’ve brought Little T there a few times since I joined the National Trust, and today was the first time Mr. G joined us for a walk along the play trail on the estate grounds. It was a beautiful day to wander through the woodland area, where we saw several carpets of bluebells along the way, and a fun day to enjoy the activities from climbing tree stumps to swinging on the wooden swings hanging from the trees.

    1. I plan on visiting more National Trust sites, also venturing further outside of London, in the coming months. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated! Thanks for stopping by!

    1. It is a beautiful place to explore and I’m glad it’s so close so we also have the option to stop by for an hour or two to get some fresh air and wander around. Thanks for hosting #MySundayPhoto!

    1. Thank you! I lucked out with the swan photo! The swan was just there with this beautiful background and I only had to wait a moment for the swan to lift its head before quickly moving on to avoid disturbing it. Thanks for stopping by!

    1. Thank you, it was really lovely to have a chance to spot some bluebells at Osterley House as we didn’t really have a chance to go out on a bluebell walk. Hope you’ve been enjoying springtime there too! Thanks for stopping by!

  1. What a beautiful place. We have an old mansion near us that has beautiful gardens that we enjoy walking though as well. It is such a peaceful way to spend the day.

  2. I’m a massive National Trust fan, such beautiful places all over the country. Osterley looks gorgeous, it’s such a fab time of year to get outside and have some fun. Your photos are great, I think it’s another one to put on our must visit list! #whatevertheweather

    1. Thanks very much! Those are bluebells, there are loads of them usually in woodland areas around England in the springtime, like a purple carpet. They are beautiful to see! Thanks for stopping by 🙂
